In the map above you can see many physical characteristics of Morocco. You can see the capital Rabat is in capital letters to help it stand out. We see the two bodies of water, the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean surrounded the north and north west side of Morocco. Along the coast you can see there are many seaports this allows the cities in those areas to always have access to fresh fish and water. The Atlas Mountains split the country in half from plains to the Sahara Desert. The city of Marrakech right on the edge of the Atlas mountains is one of the most popular cities of Morocco. Many bazaars are here and it is full of culture that people from other countries love to learn about. At night it turns into a crowd full of interesting people and from my research it seems like it would remind me a lot of the movie Aladdin.

The map below shows the elevation levels of Morocco. As you can see the highest points are in the middle where the Atlas Mountains are. The lowest levels are along the Atlantic Ocean where the land is right above sea level. Morocco is unique in this way going from right above sea level all the way to 10000 feet in just about 200 miles.

The map below shows different regions of Morocco. This map actually taught me about the Western Sahara which was a country but Morocco annexed it the 70s and fought with Polisario over it for decades and to this day there is still conflict over the land. Moroccan government controls most of it however so it is mainly recognized as a part of Morocco. 25 percent of it is recognized a part of Polisario and is split by a wall called the Moroccan Wall.
